Nights In White Satin - Rockin Robin* - Live On The Radio (CD, Album)

The Moody Blues in England gegründet von Sänger und Organist Mike Pinder (geboren in Birmingham), Flötist und Sänger Ray Thomas (geboren in Stourport), Schlagzeuger Graeme Edge (geboren in Rochester), Gitar-rist und Sänger Denny Laine (wechselte zu Paul McCartneys Wings) und Bassist und Sänger Clint VVarwick hatte die Gruppe mit dem rockigen.

The album includes two covers which are "Nights in White Satin" and "Dream On" which are both enjoyable. But their own material is still the best here and my favourites are the fantastic A-side song "Right Track" and "Standing Together" which begins the B-side. This is not a great album but it's definitely a good and enjoyable effort in it's genre.

The album closer 'Watching and Waiting' was supposedly penned as a 'Nights in White Satin'-type single effort. I myself don't hear much of a resemblance, as it is much more spare than I would expect from a 'Nights' clone. Honestly, as great of an album-closer as ‘Nights in White Satin’ is, this one is better for its relative sparseness.

     · Well done, Bryan. I can’t help mentioning that the 50th anniversary deluxe edition of DoFP is a great buy. It includes the original mix on CD (never before reissued, along with & 96/24 stereo versions on DVD), the mix made when the master tape was misplaced on CD2, singles & b-sides, and video of the Moodies live at a French record industry conference.
