Solaris is a symphonic progressive rock band from Hungary that was founded in February of by university students in Budapest. The founding members were Kollár Attila (flute), Erdész Róbert (keyboards), Cziglán István (guitar), Seres Attila (bass) and Tóth Vilmos (drums). In the mid 80s, Gömör László replaced Tóth Vilmos on drums and Pócs Tamás replaced Seres Attila on bass.

And in Solaris stunned the world of prog with a new studio-album entitled Martian Chronicles II, in followed by a live CD and a live DVD/CD set, entitled Martian Chronicles Live.
